Want to replace my stock 03 headlamps (they suck) low an high beam. Which is best. Should I use my stock light buckets or get the plastic lense style. *I am afraid of moisture getting inside of the plastic style kit. Best bang for the buck?
I went with Euros which have faceted glass lenses for a better beam pattern. They use a single dual filament H4 bulb for high and low beam. I've been happy with mine.

I have tried all kinds of options, Installed HID's in my stock housings and that was ok at best, I tried Silverstars and that was ok, Now I run the ACA projectors with HID and they have a nice cut-off and work great. Mr.Bill

Mr Bill they look great so how $? What's the part #
I followed the same path mentioned by several above. Silverstars were barely better than OEM. HID in stock housing was better but because the diffraction lens wasn't designed for HID the improvement was as great as I had hoped. Bought a set of Depo's but decided not to install. Bought ACA style projectors and installed the HID kit that has the relay that keeps low beams on when high beam is energized and the difference is spectacular. I need to check the aim on the beam. Anyone know a good reference for headlight aiming?

Thanks Charlie was that relay a accessory if so where did you get it
I'm currently working on a Modified version of the of the ACA headlights that would feature a Bi-xenon projector. (high and low beam from a single light source)
The improvements would include
- a much wider low AND high beam
- HID high beam without waiting for warmup time
- Correctly aligned projector to the existing high beam.
I should be finished with the prototype by Sunday and I will post some comparison pictures. I plan to run a GP as early as next week pending the reviews of the guinea pig customer.

Ok cool lol guess i am totally confused now. You bought asa projectors then you bought the hid from another source to fit in the new projector correct. What was the hid kit in terms of lamps and ballast and from who? Thanks

We offer a couple of HID projector kits if you're interested in quality kits backed with support. We also offer full directions with each purchase. Our kits are plug n play and we offer 55 watt slim ballast kits with each purchase (30-40% brighter than 35 watt kits).
Feel free to contact me direct with questions.

A while back, I bought an HID project kit from JW. I am very pleased with it. (It's was a housing with HID low beam cannon + stock high beam cannon). He stands by his products....I had a problem with one of the ballasts and I notified him about it. He very promptly sent me a replacement... no hassles, no problems. Highly recommend.
