I had a '99 Camaro SS...I will say that I loved that car...until I drove the Vette. I'm not sure how it is everywhere else, but around here, everytime I saw another Camaro (in that specific body style) it was some punk kid driving it. Vette owners are in a class of their own. Ever notice how most Vette drivers are "well behaved" and Camaro drivers aren't?

Your car, your money, but if it were me - no way I'd trade my C5 for that car. The Camaro may be nice, but it's not a Vette.

I had a 94 T/A that I sold in July. Nice car I had it for 4 years. Before I sold it I saw a 2004 white vette. Loved the vette bought it then sold the T/A. I know there's a 10 year difference but the vette just rides so much nicer and it's pretty much fully loaded. In 2002 I almost bought a z28 and kinda regreted it but I'm happier with the vette.

Pretty sure the 2nd gen Concorde came out the same year the Camaro started using those headlights...Maybe Chrysler was stealing headlights from GM's parts bin.

No comparison. One is just a car, the other is a Vette.

Yea but were not counting the junk LT1 models [currently have a 94 Z28 also so i can hate on them] the SS he wants is an LS1. And in NO WAY am i saying a camaro is better than a vette in any aspect. All im saying is that if his vette is getting old and stacking up the miles than why not get rid of it for something with low miles. I mean the camaro would be a step backwards but he may not want to drop the additional cash on another vette.

I think you may be right, I was just getting excited about a new ride.
I would love to have both, but I already have too many

I had a black 2001 SS 6sp with T Tops and It was a good looking car but handled like crap and the interior was all hard plastic and lots of squeaks and rattles. I would not even consider this as it would be a huge downgrade from what you have now. Just say no!
