Does anyone have an 01-04 vert and installed LG Pro series or LG street series headers and an underdrive pulley. Really thinking about pulling the trigger on the deal from Mike at TPS Motorsports. Lot of cash but I really miss the power of my 02 Z06 but love my convertible. I already have the cold air and cat backs. Will the headers, pulley, tune and what I've done get me back to the Z06 power? My Z06 was total stock. Who's the guy to go to for a dyno tune in the Phoenix AZ, area?
Thanks guys
Dave

You might put down close to what your Z was capable of stock, assuming your vert is a 6spd.
But, you won't get back that raw race car feel with your vert ...IMO, drop a cam in & forget all about your Z lol enjoy!

I have an '02 vert that I was considering doing about the same as you describe. I've never had a Z06 to compare it to, so I'm sure I'd be happy with the result. Shop here wanted about 4K. A little too pricey for me then but I still do think about it.

I think you would be a tad less than what your stock 02 ZO6 was putting down. You will definitely notice a difference though!

I think Cody here at Xtreme Motorsports is the best tuner in the Southwest! You didn't say whether your car is an A4 or a manual. If it's an A4, there are a number of parameters that can be modified to improve not only WOT numbers, but more importantly the driveability. The majority of the time spent on a custom dyno tune is the street driveability.

I'd be happy to answer any more questions you have - my contact information is in my signature below!

The car should make 300-315 stock.

CAI, UD, LG LT's (Street or Pro's), and a tune the car should make 335-350 rwhp.

Right there with what a stock C5 Z would make, but you should make more torque than a stock LS6 with the headers on it.

Got the LG street and love it! Not only more power, also a very different sound than the OEM headers.

'Splain'. Deeper/Throatier? Exotic? I guess what your exhaust is would be a big factor.

Hamdog, I see you're from the DC area, how close are you to the Pentagon? I have been on fence about getting some headers for some time now but listening to youtube clips just isn't working for me. Maybe we could meet near the Pentagon and I could listen to your car.

What kind of dyno do you use? My "99" automatic with blackwing, longtubes,x-pipe, high flow cats and catback makes only 322 rwhp with a dyno tune. They use a mustang dyno to tune my car. It feels real stong by the way but doesn't put out the numbers you say.
