quick reverse light question
On the reverse light socket, it's a 1157 or 2057 bulb. which has 2 contacts and I believe 2 filaments.
Does anyone know which of the contacts on the bottom are used, which is ground or is ground the barrel portion of the bulb on the bottom.
(I'd look on my car, but I've long since swapped those connections out for another type)

The socket is designed to use a double contact bulb with offset locking-pins (1157, 2057 or 1034, etc) that would normally be used as a stop/tail/turn bulb in a tail light application. This particular socket only has one contact that makes contact with the pin on the bulb that is the larger (brighter) filament. The barrel is the ground.
