To all the naysayers - every word I posted is true. I never thought of pics (kicking myself in the *** all day). I will get a picture tomorrow and post it. I have pics that the seller sent but I will wait for picks in my driveway. Yes I sleep that soundly when tired - I failed to set the "special" alarm I have that wakes me and I fell asleep in a room with no phone or alarm in it.So now I dream about the supercharged monster in the driveway and pray it won't be the victim of vandals or thieves. Yeah, it is insured. Thanks for letting me rant.

Answer 1 question for me.
How on earth can the carrier leave the car in your driveway with out you signing for it, He has to have proof that someone excepted the car and release him from liability?
i've shipped 3 cars in the last 2 years & have had paper work (signed) for both loading from ship point & copies of receiver @ destination. this sounds strange to me. I think I saw something like it in a Cheech & chong movie 30 yrs. ago! "someone ripped off the sh%t I ripped off!
This reeks of BS. I got fvcking hammered the night before I flew to pick up my Vette. After sleeping only 2 hours, I was still pumped when the alarm went off to drive to the airport. I almost threw up in the plane (until I took a most horrendous dump) I was so hung over yet the thrill of picking up my Corvette outweighed it all. The test drive confirmed the excitement, I recommend smashing a window to get into the thing.

Back in 2010 when i shipped my c3 to its new owner across the country in Arizona, The driver did a complete inspection, with a checklist which i also witnessed and signed, as well as the gentleman who took delivery of the vette.
He actually left 3 contact numbers with the carrier beforehand.
