I overslept this morning and missed the delivery of my 2004 C5. The truck driver left the car in my driveway and went on to Chicago. He took the keys with him. So now I get to only look at the Vette until next Wednesday. Bummer!

How could a delivery driver just leave the car and not so much as make an attempt to ring the doorbell or knock on the door? Without at the very least a signature from you that the car was actually delivered how can the driver prove that the car is there? Who's the car insured under just in case it gets stolen or damaged? Quite frankly I never heard of anything like this. Heck, the UPS driver won't even leave anything at the door without a signature if the item is insured for over $1000.00.

Unless the "driver" was somebody he already knew. No signature to confirm delivery?! Apple wouldn't even delivery my iPhone 4S without a signature.
They did ring the door bell and called (28 times). I sleep that sound sometimes. I was so excited I stayed up all night and then fell asleep He knocked on my door and waited 2 1/2 hours on me. Not his fault - did it to myself. I had arranged for the seller to FedEx the 2nd key and bill of sale etc. He will FedEx it tomorrow. Just anither bitw from the old s*** sandwich.
