I have the same problem, I went to Petco and bought a spray that keeps them away and sprayed my car cover, also what works well is glue boards by catchmaster, they are designed for mice and insects but cats cannot stand these things stuck to them, a package of 4 is about $2 at walmart and you peel them and set them on the car at night and when the cat jumps up on the car they stick to them and the cat freaks out and runs off. They work and it's cheap.

Back to cats. Me personally I f'ing hate cats and can't stand the feeding of strays. My gd neighbor insists on feeding the strays around here and for some reason one of them has chosen to take up residence in the bushes beside my house. Darn thing ***** and pisses all over in that area and it stinks to high heaven some days. I let my lab loose on that one regularly and he is more than happy to oblige me by chasing said offendor back into the other yard. He's never caught one yet, and I can imagine his surprise they day he does. He'll really hate the bastards then just like I do.
My former brother in law had a pit bull that killed every cat that came in his yard. One day a cat came through the yard and the dog took off after it. It ran under a boat trailer, when the dog went under the trailer after the cat she banged her head on the trailer axle. She came staggering out from under the trailer somewhat dazed. From that day on THAT cat could do as it pleased in that yard. But the rest of them better watch out.

This is one fun thread -
"I hate cats ...... "
"Ooh noo!! how can you say that, they are wonderful creatures...."
then the best comments like:
"If any of you hurt a cat you should be blown up or shot .......... yadda yadda"

Bloody cats, in the wild they are ferocius killers, especially to our wildlife, and small critters and marsupials, bloody cats breed like rabbits!!

I gotta say as a young guy living in a rural community, it was fun to go out at night with a .22 and shall we say work to "save" the wildlife from these "beautiful furry creatures"

Looking forward to seeing what words of wisdom and joys are yet to come!

You should focus your bloodlust on pit bulls. Do your community a favor and rid them of the trash. If you think cats hunting rodents at night is so terrible, I can only imagine how furious you must get every time you hear about another pit bull attacking a human. Go get 'em, big hunter.

You want to kill Pit Bulls but its unacceptable to snap a mouse trap on a cat's foot????? The problem is with the owners, not the animals. Owning animals comes with a responsibility to make sure they are not a nuisance or worse to others. Many don't accept that responsibility. If their cat comes home with a sore paw from mouse trap it's their fault it happened.

Me? Of course, not. I love animals. You obviously missed the overly-blatant sarcasm in my post, aimed at the previous poster. Not surprised, though.

Seriously ...............

Actually, I was thinking more about cats hunting wildlife, I wouldnt classify rodents as wildlife..
As for the Pit Bull comment, it is the owner of the dog that is responsable not the dog. I have owned large dogs my whole life including mix breeds with the so called "aggressive" blood lines. It is always the owner who sets the "mould" when it comes to dog behaviour and there are some pretty stupid folks out there!

I agree with o4blackice this thread is hillarious!!

Do a cat stake out with a pellet gun and they'll stay away!

But they have cat trap cages - when we first moved to our house there were a ton of stray cats (feral) and we caught 19 of them and took them to the pound - now the ones with collars got released but never came back around!

I just used a empty can of tuna as a bowl and put food in it and caught one every night till they no longer came around! Just set it near the Vette and it's a done deal!

I think Id invest in one of those motion activated night vision cameras they use to watch deer feeders for about $150. Then show the neighbor the pictures and scratches and ask him for a check of $5000 to paint your car. And tell him thats before court cost.

I'm not surprised your not surprised.

Went and bought a new pellet gun with a scope today. Need more accuracy for gut shots, so they don't die in my yard.
