The other day I pulled up next to a kid who asked me what kind of car I was driving. I said it was a corvette. He asked if it had the vette motor in it I said no it had the modular 4.6 in it ha ha. lets hear some of the other stupid comments you all have heard!!

In a weak moment, primarily because it was raining heavily, I pulled up to the valet parking at a favorite restaurant. The attendant jumped in looked at the gear shift of my 6 speed and asked "how do you get it in drive?"......I parked it myself.

This thread, It is too bad you couldn't educate him in stead of being a smart A$$.
Just my opinion, If someone asks about my car I would be more than happy to talk about it. There are a lot of people that love cars, But they don't know a lot about them.

I have one of those VETTES that was produced in Canada with the 300km on the speedo, so people always ask me if it really can go 300mph.....lol
I had a group of kids argue with each other for about 10 minutes about how fast Corvettes can go.

Every Saturday morning (weather permitting) I take my 5 year old son to the little country store by my house and we eat powdered donuts with juice and coffee.
On one morning a lady parks her "new" C6 Corvette next to mine. I comment on her nice Vette and she says. "Yeah, this is a Special Saints Edition Corvette". She points to the Corvette logo, she says, "See, the fleur-de-lis in the emblem?"
I thought she was joking and I said, Yea, Mine too! Then she stares at me like I was crazy. Then I realized she was serious.
I pointed to my logo on my hood and she came over and saw the same fleur-de-lis. I explained that this is on EVERY corvette logo as part of the emblem. She was floored, she said that she was told at the delership that this was a Special Saints Edition Vette.

Your posts are always right on point and helpful. You have failed however to remember that all of us love your photos and are therefore required to always include a photo. You make the Corvette Forum even greater than it is.
