the myth is if you drive your corvette in the rain it will melt..well it wont happen..trust me..if you get caught in the rain..when you get home..wash it and then dry it off...keep some wax on her too..so when the rain does get on the car it will just bead off.

The best advice I could give you to keep your car clean in the rain is to make sure your car is clean prior to the rain, then once you are done driving, wipe it down and get all of the dirt off.

I hear these terms like "rain' "snow" "sleet" "winter" and the like and just don't know what they mean? Maybe someone can explain them to me.

I do know the meaning of "smog" "traffic" and "highest gas prices" though

Just wax it. Nothing will stop it from getting dirty, but it will make cleaning it a whole lot easier.

The other myth is that those of us who don't drive in the rain aren't really enjoying our cars.

PUI by chance? Unless you have incredibly clean roads and rain, the car will get dirty if you drive it in the rain. Just one of those things you have to accept.

Yes, bring a drying chamoi. Every 2 miles, stop under an highway overpass and wipe it down dry then spray wax it with McGuire's quick detail. If your not going on any highways, then look for banks with drive-throughs. Just tell the teller your not here for any transactions. you need their drive through roof for 10min. Just be cautious because alot of customers will be angry waiting on line for you.

Another option is to drive with the car cover on. Just cut a hole for you to see like Enterprise Rentals did on their commercial.

You'll probably need to try some of that new Rain-X car polish and just watch the dirty roll right off.
