I guess it depends on budget and personal preference. Mine were from rotorpros.com and came in at about $200. Matched with hawk HPS pads they've worked great and, surprisingly, give stopping power as good as OEM.
They sat in the box for months before I fitted them. As soon as you bed them in they clean up and look much brighter than it seems from this picture taken when I was fitting them.
I too wanted upgraded rotors, after doing some shopping I picked Drilled only. I found that owners of Drilled/Slotted or smooth with slotted produced more brake dust. They do bit better but with each braking action the slots carve the brake pad creating more dust. I picked drilled only (just like the C6 Z06). Again I don't track my vette so the cracking of the rotors as others may say will not be an issue. The added cooling for normal or mildly spirited street driving is all I am looking for. If drilled are bad, why are the major sports car still installing them, Porsche, Ferrari, C6 Z06 etc. I found a good price on Ebay out of Canada, they have more holes than the ones I've found here local. Good luck and here is a photo of my front rotor:
NIce setup, question does the valve that porporsions the braking able to work with a front caliber installed in the back. Since 70% of the front handles most of the stopping, are you locking up the rear with the added braking?? I like it, was wondering myself about doing this or upgrading to a 6 piston front 4 piston rear setup..
I bought them, Brakemotive. The ceramic pads didn't work for me. However, Hawk street pads have solved my problems. I use them for track duty as well. So far so good on the rotors.

You will pay, but these rotors from AFX performance (http://shop.performanceafx.com/) sweet. 2 piece. They significantly reduce rotating mass and provide amazing braking power. I've seen many drilled rotors crack pretty bad too….perhaps you may want to think about simply slotted rotors for durability/longevity purposes….

Have not had any issues with locking up the rear brakes. I do want to look into an adjustable brake master cylinder so I can apply some more rear braking and reduce any dive on hard braking. I have attached a link here that follows a number of us who have done this mod.

I'm running the stock rotors on my '03, but on my '00 I had a set of one piece Baer Eradispeed rotors - drilled and slotted. Bought them back around 2003 and paid something like $700 for the set with Hawk HPS pads. I liked them and never had any issues with the rotors or the brake pads. But a lot of members have gone with something like the Brakemotive parts and have been very happy.
None of the factory racing teams use drilled rotors for good reason - they not only are prone to cracking but they also reduce braking effectiveness if the same size rotor (as OEM) is used.
Almost all of these racing teams use slotted-only rotors. I have cryo-treated PowerSlots. They will be the last set of rotors I will ever need. My advice: Skip the bling and buy what is most effective - good-quality slotted rotors.
