I have used them for years and they are great! Do put the new duster on a newspaper and let set for a day or so to get rid of the excess parafin in the duster, otherwise it will streak some for the first few dustings. Also, as said before, no preasure is needed when dusting, if its that dirty wash the car!

Not only do I use the California Duster, but I also use the Water Blade. Been using the same one for over 6 years now. Never a scratch or swirl with either one! Zuti
I even purchased a mini Interior Duster, it is great collection dust and dirt on the dash and interior. I did notice that it left small little RED lint, so I just beat it on a carpet and then re-used it and it took all the NEW link away.. Great product.
I dust my car weekly and I use Eagle One Superior NanoWAX, light spray and wipe down for that just waxed look.
I've used Cali Dusters since they first came out (boy, that ages me) and I really like them. I did order an extra one some time back and was sent a duster that looked like the Cali Duster only a different color. It was packaged as a Cali duster but the quality really sucked. That's what I got for trying to save a few pennies. I complained to the vendor and they sent me another, the real thing, this time. Be aware!
They have them that look exactly like that at Wal-mart $9.95 But if MINE has dust on it I just hose it down and chamios dry, takes about20 minutes.
That is fine when you are at home but last weekend, we attended the AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday and Saturday. Pollen is still a problem here at this time so the California Duster is the best solution at the show. I have been using a duster since they first came out in the mid-1990s (I believe) and have used one on all my cars and have never seen any scratches in the paint from using it.
As far as the Turtle Wax version of this, I would spend the few extra dollars and get the original version. Everything that California Car Cover Company makes is first class and well worth the money and this includes their water blade.

y'know, I'm totally a believer, but the whole idea of it being better as it gets older makes no sense.
Yeah, I have always questioned that, too but they are shooting themselves in the foot by making that claim whether it is true or not. My original one is so old that the whole design of them has changed completely since I bought it. And it is HEAVY! But I bought a new one last weekend and like it much better than the two old ones I had. So, I plan to use it instead of the others now. And it is much lighter.
I have 2 California Dusters. One for the top portion of the car and another for the wheels, tires and wheel wells. No problems. I don't know if anyone else has tried this, I spray Pledge inside my fender wells on the black to keep them shiny all the time and it keeps stuff from sticking inside the wells
