A heads up on a couple of tools we all use that are for sale at a good price. Harbor Freight has their float charger on sale for $5.49. I bought three of them on sale six years ago for $3.99 thinking they would not last very long. One is still in the box, one went to a neighbor and the original is still being used on a regular basis after six years.
Other item is their 1 1/2 ton low profile jack. I also bought it six years ago and use it often. Have never had a problem with it. $59 on sale now.
Harbor Freight sells GARBAGE-you get what you pay for.
Their tools are not MATCO or Snap on, not even Craftsman, however for home use they are a great tool for the price. I have never broken a ratchet or hand tool that I've gotten there and believe me, I use my tools a lot. That little blue jack is worth twice the price.

I have the low profile jack and its one of the best tools Ive invested in. Stay away from their knockoff dremels real crappy weak motor. Ive got one of thier mig welders and with quality wire its great for small projects.
They have a trans jack that I bought for $64. It made it possible to do a clutch job at home. It worked great! However, they do have some crap tools too. Needle nose pliers are hit and miss when it comes to whether the points will line up. Most tools are okay though, definetely good enough for home use.
I'm guilty of shopping there. Checking out their seven in. buffer for $49.99 just last light. Some of their stuff is okay for DYI home jobs. Thanks for the heads-up on those items.

I have also had the small aluminum racing jack the OP posted about. I bought mine back when it was $39
After 9 years of use, no issues. Don't get me wrong I have my fair share of Craftsman tools, but not ALL Harbor Freight tools are junk. I think you just have to choose wisely.
