I think it's great. Leave it alone. When I bought my '03 Z06 (which I still own and love) I was torn between yellow or red with the "mod red" interior. I finally decided on Red, but Yellow is also great. Enjoy it.

If you are a purist then leave it alone eye catching oh hell yes hard on the eyes at first hell yes. With that said I would leave it alone as in dont sell it. Start buying replacement parts and save the old stuff on my car everything that I have changed I have the stock parts for. My car is my creation and if or when I sell her (never) I can put it back the way it was when I bought it. This is just a thought for you and remember it's your car do what ever you want and dont care what we think.

I like it but ditch the aftermarket colored stuff.... colored steering wheel, colored shift boot and center console cover. That just adds a little too much tacky.

I would not remove Mod Red original pieces though. Its a rare option.

I love my Mod Red interior ! It adds a little color into an otherwise bland looking black interior. Just a touch of red... not too much to be over the top though.

As I stated before, I am not a big fan of the mod red interior. But if I had to choose a vehicle that has it tastefully done, I'd choose this one. Only the knee bolsters and lower door panels have the red color. Just the right amount of contrast.

Not sure if you added these pieces or if it was an original factory mod red and you upgraded to the nicer seats, but at any rate...well done Toque.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!(inside and out)

Plus one with "Torques" comments,

The non genuine add-ons do not enhance your interior.
The seats are def. not attractive

You must have a rare combo, I haven't seen this before.

You haven't seen a mod red interior before? Because those are factory mod red seats. The steering wheel, shift boot and console cover are aftermarket pieces.

Gradarren, Give it a few days before you make a rash decision. I, like some others, suggest you leave it. When it's all black, the interior just looks bland and boring. Everything looks lost in a sea of black, nothing stands out.

It's like sharks with blood in the water when the OP mentions not liking his mod red interior! Plus, I don't Think GM even makes mod red interior pieces anymore. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks ! I added the Mod Red from a scrapped out low mileage 2003 Z06 (Doors, glove box, knee bolster).

Correct. GM does not make the Mod Red parts anymore.

I'll swap you my mint black interior I have the base 99 seats which are the same as the Z06 without the Z06 in the headrest though.

What's stupid is since Chevy introduced Torch Red again in 2010 they don't even make a Torch Red interior to match the exterior...it's just Red and doesn't match.
