Steering Column Lock
Just wanna shout out to everyone who posted on the column lock issue. Just restored my '98 vette today in about 30 mins using the LMC5 unit and it worked like a charm. Tomorrow I plan to go to Jennings Chevrolet and tell them how worthless they are 
and to tell them they owe me a refund and an apology!!!

Just file a complaint with corporate; they do respond to e-mails you send them. After my big accident in 2005 I sent them an e-mail praising the design of the Monte Carlo because it literally saved my life, and I received a response from an actual GM employee in less than 24 hours.

That maybe because you were praising them, not complaining. It will interesting to see if they do respond, and more interest to see if the dealership does anything.

But it can't hurt to let GM Customer Assistance know that things weren't done right. I complained about my '00 having to be fixed three times for a leaking rear differential seal and they actually extended my warranty on the differential component at no charge. Sometimes it does pay to be a squeaky wheel.
