Default Suspension upgrades

ok this is going to sound crazy but what would be the best set up to get my Z06 to handle like my Mazda speed 3 , havent driven the Vette since it went down for a bad clutch since then I bought a Mazda 3 speed for a daily driver and love it but I pulled the Z06 out today and drove it down the road bad clutch and all and it felt like it was loose as hell compaired to the Mazda , I was thinking of getting the Johnny O Connel suspension kit and the better bushings from phadt performance if anyone has any thought on this please give me some input .

The Z06 feels loose as in prone to oversteer, or do you mean feels generally less precise compared to your MS3?

Stock shocks do suck on the z06. I got the johnny oconnels and I am super happy with them. WAY better then stock. I say fix the bad clutch then get some shocks and sticky tires. I also got some corbeau A4s as my biggest complaint about the z06 are the crappy seats and loose seat bushings.

thanks for the replies the car dose not feel as planted or as responsive to inputs as the speed 3 and the Mazda just feels like a tighter car I have Nittos all the way around and 555rs on the back ,I have a built 408 in the car it dynoed at 530 rwhp and 490 rwtrq so its a handfull just want it to handle better and have that race car feel , my hats off to Texas Speed they did a great job on the motor the thing runs great , I agree about the seats and have also been looking at the A4s , am also looking at getting a stiffer tunnel plate maybe that will help not sure if a cage would make a big diffrence but I think I am going to need one because after I do my first pass im sure I will get booted for not having one the local track here in MI is pretty strick about that not sure how low I can run before I have issues I think its an 11:55 but im not sure .

Coil Overs, poly bushings should fix it. I miss my setup (which was COs and Poly bushings) it handled and cornered like it was on rails, very TIGHT!

tires that are closer in width, front and rear.

Then check the alignment for a bit aggressive, and your done.

275 fronts and 295 rears or 295 fronts and 305 rears

put an agressive alignement on

front
-1.0* camber
1/32 toe OUT
max camber ~6*

Rear
- 1/2*
1/32 toe IN

car will handle like it is on rails.
