BPMV Issues.. Which years ?

The BPMV is normally not a problem. The EBCM is more likely to cause issues. C1214 is the classic DTC. No year is worse than others but the older ones are harder to find now as GM OEM parts are becoming more rare..

I have read some forum members here are heving issues with the BPMV on 2000 and later years are having problems. As well as some C6 cars.
I understand that the C1243 Code is primarly a BPMV issue, and the 1214 is either the ECBM or possibly a BPMV issue.
The real issue is that there are not any replacement pumps out there. At least not witrhout a hefty pricetag.

BPMV is rare in my experience. Check the codes on the car you plan to buy. EBCM and in my case SWPS are far more common. Nice thing about the DIC is you can check the car you want to buy and make sure.
