Default Hello from a new guy

Hello all, I’m new to the C5 world. I have owned C4’s in the past. I have just purchased a 98 C5. It seems to be all stock. Got a really good deal on it. It runs and drives great. It has messages on the cluster that reads “ traction control” “ABS” “tire air sensor” that always flash. I can hold down the reset button and they go off but soon as I kill the vehicle and restart they all come back on. What should I do???????

First you need to post pics of your new baby, and welcome to the C5 side.

Second you need to post the codes that you're reading on the DIC. We can help you once we have those.

welcome.
does it have aftermarket wheels?/tires bigger than stock? or smaller diameter in the rear?
possibly had the tire pressure sensors removed, if not they could be bad.

First off welcome to the forum! I've seen all of these errors. I also have a '98. The tire pressure sensor may be the tire sensor's batteries are getting low ( there is a fix if you search the 'tech' forum). The abs and traction control may be a dirty or faulty sensor in the brake assembly. Get all of the codes from the DIC, write them down and then clear them and see which ones return. Check out the 'stickie' at the top of this forum page (weights, measurements, etc) for all kinda of info regarding C5 issues, clearing codes, fixes for common problems, etc. It's a great car, fairly easy to work on and very reliable. Have fun and post some pics. Zuti

Ok I followed this and it didnt give me any codes. It did not turn off the warning messages.. I did it like 5 times with no luck.......

1) Turn on the ignition but don't start the engine.
2) Press the "reset" button (for 5 sec) to turn off any warning messages
3) Press and hold "options" button and
4) While holding "options", press "fuel" four times within a 10-Second period.
