Default Head Light Upgrades

Are there any head light upgrades available for the C5? I want to keep the flip up style light. The bulbs aren't very bright and are a little dangerous in my opinion. They do need to be aimed up a little higher but even with the brights on it's pretty hard to see distance. I haven't begun to look so ideas would be great... Thanks

Do a search for Sun Guns. Besides these, there are several options.

Just picked some Xeon hid lamps with plug & play ballast 4500k I think. Nice bright white. They work great. $60.00 for the low beam pair. Got them a a vett car show.

Look around for the ACA Projector lights. I got a set on ebay for around $280. I love them!

I chose the 9005 mod and to use Silver Stars. Much improvement with little cost.

Look into a 9011 and 9012 bulbs. They can be modded to fit your stock bulbs.

I installed the High-Wattage Euro kit a few years ago - could not be happier.

I just replaced the stock bulbs with HIRs. http://hirheadlights.com/
HUGH improvement without changing the original style.

I also added this harness so low beams stay on when you go to high beams.

http://shop.radioflyerinnovations.co...arness-003.htm

And - it can be done for around $100!!

There are plenty of choices that work great as many here have pointed out. However, you definitely get what you pay for these days.

In my opinion, RadioFlyer is without a doubt the best choice, great service, and you are supporting a forum member!

Like Chreo I fitted Euros although mine are T85 left hand dippers for UK. I fitted the high wattage harness but I've only ever used stock H4 55/65s which work for me. It's a much better shaped beam than stock

Here's a little tip for you regarding your Website because I flat out can't read it. Accessibility standards (W3.org) state that using red on a Web page, especially against dark backgrounds, makes text invisible to people with color blindness. People who can't read Web pages normally move on and find a site they can. For accessibility reasons the W3C standards argue against using red for any text. Search engines look for this type of accessibility problem when ranking sites.

Just something to think about.

It should be a very simple change. A single line of code on the CSS should take care of it across the entire site. Thanks for checking into it.
