we both live in Florida I can go see him anytime. The other

Customer service and real people make the difference.
Example: Goodyear screwed up a lug nut. I call CCW to buy
one lug nut. They send me 5 lugnuts overnight for FREE.
I bought my wheels 6 years ago.
Now that's cutomer service.
well said and put.. John for sure knows his stuff on wheels and off sets and getting it correct... Robert

Yes I am aware of that , it just seems everyone I have talked to has had issues with the three piece set up.

I have talked to several BMW and Porsche guys that feel the same way, we all had similar issues

And its not the sidewall as I have tried a number if different set ups.

Anyway I was just posting my experience, sounds like others have had a good experience ; I just haven't been as lucky

You're definitely not the only one. What size are you running?

Three piece wheels are the original road race wheels. In part as it is easy to replace rims, CCW or BBS as needed.

three piece wheels are a bit lighter then the one piece wheel.

I have had no problems with my 3 piece CCWs. and all three sets are 8+ years old. I inspect them constantly for hair line cracks too.

When I buy other sets most likely will be the CCW Lip monster so if fits over a BBK set up.

I do not think it matters which wheel you buy, HRE, CCW, OZ, BBS or Fiski, there is a cost to good wheels.

Yeah, I don't think/hope I won't have to change wheels for damage reasons. The HRE's on the car are growing on me, even in black (which I usually hate). If I have to do it again I would love to get a set of 18or19" SP500's. The look is just unmatched. I don't care for the way the spokes flair out on the HREs. I'm sure CCW can use the same specs off the current wheels to custom make a set (because of the mini tub and all).

Well, coming from a guy who has ran both wheels... I cannot say anything bad about either. Had the CCW SP500's and loved them!! Strong wheels with looks to boot. That being said, had an opportunity to pick up some HRE's and could not pass. Love the look, stance of the car and they are definately a strong/light wheel. IMHO, you cannot go wrong with either.

Had CCW Big Street Classics and now run CCW SP500's. 18x10 and 19x13

You WILL NOT find a better vendor to deal with than John, Chip and Melissa!

Getting out of my thread but The Cult is AMAZING, I bet the show was great. Too bad my generation(Y) has no idea who The Cult is.

I just mounted a set of 19x13 CCW 505a's (345 rears) on my Z last week. Wow... They are nice and light weight. It took about 6 hours to do the mini tub and $45.00

Unless my car blows up you will definitely see me. After my plugs & wires change today the car is running superbly, she's still clean and shining from last weekend's wash & wax, and I'll be caught up on the homework.

Whether or not that's a good thing is still open for debate.

Still have the CCW SP500's? If so, want to sell them?

Both are excellent wheels. I lean towards the CCWs because they (1) cost much less for a top quality wheel and (2), they have some awesome designs. Plus their customer service is outstanding.
