I cant lie, at first I thought it was kinda dorky BUT actually its pretty cool now, I feel like.... I'm a part of something I LOVE my Z, I'll always have one from now on (lord willing) and I will make sure to give all you vette owners a wave back VVRRROOOOOooooooommmmm!!

I won't lie, I thought it was a little dorky at first too. . . but then I remembered we're better than everybody else.
I was told by the previous owner of my car that you have to do the wave. He does it all the time and hes a grumpy old fvck! I also have not noticed any wave initiated toward me yet. Is it because I'm a younger vette owner? do the old guys feel jealous or intimidated? Or is it because my car is heavily modified and not your average midlife crisis car?

It's pretty hard to see and determine how old the driver is ... so it's not the age. Maybe those other Vette guys are noobies too, and just don't know about the wave. Do the wave to all, and soon all will be doing the wave.

The answer is in your avitar.. New York... Most people flip each other off up there..

I bought mine for the track, but it's still construed as a midlife crisis mobile. My thinking is that I bought it before I turned 30, so even if I still have it when I'm 40, it can't count against me as a midlife crisis, right?

Maybe the C6Z guys have their fat wallets stuck up their butt. I know when I get my C6Z (Bright as Hell Red) I'll still keep my wallet in my front pocket and wave to ALL YOU OWNERS!

Hey, I'm 27 and just bought my first one. I've dubbed it a 7/16 life crisis.
I figured I'd get a head start too... that way, when I DO reach midlife I will already have the awesome car. Of course, I will want to slap 2 turbos on it at that time, but that's $15000 versus what, $50000 for a new vette? So really, it's just a smart financial decision...
