I wave to every vette I see. Mines a weekend car and I'd say 9/10 times they wave back.

Corvette guys always wave.
I got my first Z a couple months ago and sure enough, ALL the other vettes that drive by give a lil' wave. I cant lie, at first I thought it was kinda dorky 
BUT actually its pretty cool now, I feel like.... I'm a part of something 
I LOVE my Z, I'll always have one from now on (lord willing) and I will make sure to give all you vette owners a wave back

I was told by the previous owner of my car that you have to do the wave. He does it all the time and hes a grumpy old fvck! I also have not noticed any wave initiated toward me yet. Is it because I'm a younger vette owner? do the old guys feel jealous or intimidated? Or is it because my car is heavily modified and not your average midlife crisis car?

I figured I'd get a head start too... that way, when I DO reach midlife I will already have the awesome car. Of course, I will want to slap 2 turbos on it at that time, but that's $15000 versus what, $50000 for a new vette? So really, it's just a smart financial decision...

Come on man, look into one of those STS kits and do it yourself. or even a blower. I like my C5 better than any of the new vettes. Well,
