Default Chrome Lug Nuts or Caps?

I'm trying to figure out the right replacement parts to buy. Do the C5 thin spoke wheels take plastic lug nut caps (that screw onto plain lug nuts) only, or can they also fit full chrome lug nuts in place of the plastic caps? Both?

I'd get the chrome lug nuts and stop screwing around with two things to take off. I got tired of losing caps and having them fade in the sun and purchased a set of chrome acorn nuts that look great and they're cheaper than buying the type with the threads for the caps and then buying the caps. They're advertised all over the forum and on ebay and by all the Corvette vendors.

That's what I was hoping someone would say. Would the acorn nuts be such as these that also come with chrome locks?

I too would recommend getting the chrome lug nuts and ditch the ones with the screw on caps. Just looks better and less of a hassle when you go to take the wheel off the car.
