5% is the worst. Impossible to see out at night and it turns purple faster. Not to mention the total blackness of the windows doesnt look right against the paint IMO. I bought a car with 5 on it and always had to have the windows open, to park especially.

Oh and my brother is in the car in this pictures, just so you can see how dark it is lol

I went with 20% all the way around, love the look.

Kill Switch, can you post a pic of your front winshield with the tint? I'd love to see it. Also, how do you deal with reg and inspection stickers?

Hey, I have not had the vette done yet. It currently has tint that needs to be redone, at which point I will do the windshield as well and post pics. My mustang and pickup are done 20% with the 50% windshield though. Actually, the pickup HAD windshield tint, until the hood flew up and smashed it. Did a stellar job of keeping the glass contained and out of my eyes and the interior. As far as the stickers, I always laminate the inspection and reg and precisely lay it on with Crystal Clear packing tape, just a tiny edge of tape around it so it will just peel right off when you need to. It eliminates the aging of the stickers that turn funky and start peeling from moisture. I am a freak when it comes to the stickers. Everything I stated about the windshield is Illegal here in NY...just sayin.

You know what, screw this, I wasnt going to do the tints anytime soon, but I have some extra cash and the current tint is bothering me. I'll make the appointment this week.

I'm aware of the legalities, thanks!

I like your approach to the stickers. Very smart. I might have to look into getting my windshield done....on my truck, too.

His came that way, still very black...looks great on the White. But I don't like driving it myself. Its an '03 Passat W8, lowered on HR's with Bilstiens, Quad Tipped Magnaflows. Sounds sweet. The Yellow E36 is Son #2's ride...

Decided to go with 35% up front and 20% in the back nearly a year ago and couldn't be happier. Then this morning finally got around to replacing my windshield and pulled the trigger on tinting that as well. Got 50% on it and to the majority it looks regular but to me it's noticeable and I love it. Would have a pic but didn't get chance to snap one.

Good luck with your decision.
