Sooooo true. I recently replaced my Pirelli PZero Neros with a set of Nitto Invos. Both tires are 305/25R20 sizes. The Invos are almost .75" wider than the Pirellis, and almost .5" taller. Enough of a difference that people notice it visually when looking at the car. "Did you get bigger tires, dude?"

My question is whether these sizes cause the tires to stick out beyond the fender. I've seen both Toque's Z06 and Patches' red coupe with this combo and I didn't notice it.
I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks!
They should not stick out. (19x10, and 19x11)
However.... Mine stick out just a little (1/4") in the rear. After reading enough on this forum I finally figured out why. When CCW first made the SP500's they set the offsets assuming that your tire does NOT have a large lip protector. I did not know that when I bought they and I put on Continental tires with a huge lip protector. I am planning to put on Hankook V12's this xmas, and they don't have a lip protector so it should flush things up.

Correct. John @ CCW and I were on the phone today for close to an hour reviewing all the options with the wheels. In the end we agreed that he is going to put together the 19X19 package with Hankook V12s to show me the difference as compared to the 19X19 package with the Michelin Super Sports that have the large lip protector designed for the Porsche 911.

Well i decided to go with the Bridgestone RE-11 tires as my replacements for my old Continental ContiSport 3's.
My Old Continentals had a HUGE sidewall lip protector which made my rear tires stick out over 1/4". See pic below.
My new RE-11's have just a little side wall protector in comparison (see pic below). I stick out on the rears just a pinch now (~1/8"). Not nearly as bad as it used to. I'm much more happy now...
I could have gone with the Hankooks and likely flushed things up perfectly. The Hankooks don't seem to have much (if any) lip protector.
I decided on the RE-11's for performance reasons. The tiny stick out 1/8" is of no concern to me.
I have the same wheel sizes as oldC5. Came with the same size Hankook tires and they do stick out as oldC5 stated. Have the Lewis 5 guards and plan to install them soon. No pics right now.

From the rear the car looks exactly like the pics MSG C5 posted.
