Just lowered on stock bolts here but otherwise guilty. Corvette insanity is fun, or is it, maybe not, pretty sure I like it, sometimes I hate it, but the rest of the time I am sorta OK with being fine with it, unless I don't give a **** part of the time, which makes me feel guilty that I didn't like it part of the time.
Oh well, guess I'll go get my Vette dirty so I have to Frikkin clean the bitch again. I love my car, mostly.
Some people perhaps do go a bit overboard on washing/waxing, buying the latest gadget, etc on these cars, but in all honesty, if they have the time, money and desire to do so, that's OK by me.
I am also one of those guys who polishes , waxes , details etc . I find going to the man cave to do this a stress reliever . Its not work if you enjoy it .

I know my oldest would have disowned me if I'd tried to sell my Monte Carlo instead of giving it to her when she turned 16. All of her friends are jealous.
I ain't selling....
Why would I... Its still new...
and... I got the last year for the HT, and they are not making them anymore.

I honestly spend 4-8 hours per week detailing my car. Well over 8 hours if it includes Zaino polish, and must more if I do a complete Adams metal polish to my wheels. Not because I have to, but because I enjoy it. My car looks like it just rolled off the assembly line, and I hope to keep it that way for years to come. It has not seen water from my hose since 2004.
I prefer to do my own maintenance on my cars to the best of my ability (all fluids, brakes, troubleshooting etc...etc..etc...)
I'm so insane I even created a web site about my car, and posted procedures on how to do things that I have learned over the years.
I have always taken very good care of my possessions. You should see how clean I keep my daily driver...
I guess I'm just insane about my love for cars....

I visited your site one beautiful Vette. I hope to reach your level one day soon. Bought mine as a second owner lots of cosmetic work to do wax, clean ect... I intentionally bought a used Vette because I love working on cars and I figured if I bought a new one all I had to do is drive it, no fun. Now that is insane.

“Mr. Peabody and Sherman Travel WayBack to 5 minutes ago so they didn’t feel like they wasted their time reading this”
Apparently others were interested in the subject enough that they read it and commented. I feel and agree that anybody can spend as much time doing whatever they want to do, it's their life.
This was just my opinion. We all have the right for that as well.

Schyzophrenia can be your friend!! Oh, wait a minute....with schyzophrenia you don't need friends 'cause you already are a whole bunch of your own friends!!!!!
The symptoms usually develop slowly over months or years. Sometimes you may have many symptoms, and at other times you may only have a few symptoms. People with any type of schizophrenia may have trouble keeping friends and working. They may also have problems with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

I work as a mental health professional. I wanted to make the distinction between the two illnesses.
I can’t help but allow mental illness to be addressed in such an ignorant fashion.

Uh, I do believe he was joking. No need to get all serious about it; take it in the spirit intended.

It's even more widespread with Harleys. Lots of people bought them just to say they have one. I'm trying to sell my 00 with 34000 miles and finding out I'll be taking a huge hit. Told a friend I would feel even dumber if I hadn't riden it.
Why do people buy art and just hang it on the wall?

You guys are right. This isn't the time or place to start preaching. Sorry DSTURBD!
Please go back to your regularly scheduled program.

There is no such thing as "working" on the vette for me. It is a labor of love.

Glad to be of service, I think, maybe not, insanity is easy! But you have to work at it!
