I have an 2001 i started off with a compressor that wasnt working and i fixed that problem then it started blowing warm again and now i can only get it to cool on side and its a big difference in temp. Freon level is good checked that aa few times. Can anyone help me with this problem also seems like the high side is building too much pressure while the low side stays normal
Thermostat????? Anyways, I would check the outside ambient temp sensor, If that sensor is shot and reads the wrong outside temp it makes your A/C act all goofy, Its located on the passenger side frame up in the engine bay towards the front of the car to the right of the air intake box or to the left if your standing directly in front of the car... I believe that is it, im like 95% sure, Its down real low
Whoops, thanks for correcting an errant guess. I had remembered that the thermostat caused heating problems in one of my older cars, but had the mental lapse of forgetting that the heater and a/c work in entirely different manners.
In addition to the exterior temp sensor (which sticks into the side of the radiator shroud at the bottom of the passenger side), could it also be the interior temp sensor (inside the mini vent-looking thing to the left of the ignition)?
