or going one step forward, they will be able to regulate your top speed. say if you're in a 55mph speed limit area, the car will top out at 55, even if you hold the pedal to the floor....

Some golf courses already use GPS to do similar things, such as where the cart can go and where it can't. Was the wierdest thing the first time. I thought the cart had died!
