I need to reattach the weatherstripping that runs along the top of the cowl because it has come loose in a few places. What type of adhesive would work best for this? Thanks.
Go to Home depot and get a tube of "Loctite 'Stik'n Seal' Adhesive. It's (Indoor/Outdoor) and the stuff is so strong I think it hold together a bad marriage !

Ed I've used 3M SUPER WEATHERSTRIP GASKET ADHESIVE, part #08008 with good luck and that may be what you ended up with. It will like silicone grease, after it dries.
