I had west coast corvette put them on . They worked on them for almost 2 hours . the guy told he did his best but the tips point down slightly. He tried everything , he told me to call GHL and I did . Jeff said he would send me another set and he never did. All he did was post on Corvette Forum all fixed. BS what a chicken ****. . I am a perfectionist. I love taking my car to shows. Hate displaying something that looks off. I guess I should get over this . LOL
Hey OldC5, I think I'm having the exact same problem with mine. I put on a new set of GHL bullets last weekend, and they look and sound great.
But for whatever reason I can't get the left side to stay aligned correctly. I've tighted the hell of out of the clamps, but when I apply downward pressure to the pipes it sags almost instantly. It looks like the whole exhaust moves when I put pressure on it.
Is this the same problem you're having? Any ideas on how to fix it?
Gonna throw this up real quick. If you guys havnt heard this before, go and get the Mothers Mini Powerball to pollish the insides. I can polish all 4 tips in less than 10 minutes! And that is after adding a few hundred miles worth of exhaust build up. (sorry, she's a dd, and even gets rained on) Just throwing it out there.. Car looks great btw!
