Default GHL Bullets Installed!

Swapped out my B&B bullets this weekend for some GHL Bullets. I really liked the B&B's before the heads/cam/intake swap but it was too obnoxious with the new setup. I must say that the car sounds PERFECT now! Just the way I want it!

well, compared to the B&B bullets, no. I would say very minimal drone around 2200rpms. I mean very minimal. With the B&Bs i thought my head was going to explode. The GHLs are very surprising. They are still very loud when standing behind the car but much quieter than you would expect inside the car.

Good timing I am just trying to decide between the two systems. I still don't know. I have read that the GHL drone and the B&B's don't.

I have GHL Bullets on mine, love them, no drone at all for me. Top down WOT Barely more noise at cruise than stock, nice rumble at idle.

there is no way in hell that that's correct. The B&B's drone like CRAZY! I was extremely impressed with the GHL's. The only thing i dont care for with the GHL's is the large coffee can looks. The coffee cans are mostly hidden so i can deal with it. Especially with a sound like that.

On a side note, I did LOVE the B&B's before i did My H/C/I. But they did still drone.

I did the same. I kinda liked my B&B Bullets at first. After heads and cam my door panels were vibrating at various RPM's. It was just stupid how louder my car was after heads/cam. I really hated the B&B after I modified my car. I had to find something else.

I put on the GHL Bullets and voila ! No more drone, but still retained a deep muscle car sound. Perfect sound to my ears. I can cruise at any speed and hear the radio perfect, have a conversation with my buddy in the passenger seat... etc... My wife even started to drive in my car again.

You must have heard that 100% backwards. I have had both GHL Bullets, and and the B&B Bullets. The B&B Bullets are a straight thru design. There is no "muffler" to them at all. I have NO drone with my heads/cam setup at all with the GHL Bullets. The GHL's don't stick out of the back of your car like the B&B's do. The GHL's are a nice 4" designed tip that's flush with the rear. They look like they belong.

Thanks, sorry to hear about your misfortune. Did you use C clamps and some 2x4's to help align the tips before tightening?

It took about an hour to install. The hardest part was grinding away at the tacK welds on my old exhaust. Once I got my old exhaust out it only took about 30 minutes. And I did have an extra set of hands helping me.

I had west coast corvette put them on . They worked on them for almost 2 hours . the guy told he did his best but the tips point down slightly. He tried everything , he told me to call GHL and I did . Jeff said he would send me another set and he never did. All he did was post on Corvette Forum all fixed. BS what a chicken ****. . I am a perfectionist. I love taking my car to shows. Hate displaying something that looks off. I guess I should get over this . LOL

My car is boosted, blower cam, headers, no cats and the sound that comes out of the GHLs is sweet music to my ears.

I have got compliments on how the car sounds from several people at stop lights!

B&Bs sound sweet outside the car, but inside is a whole different story!
