Default Stupid question

This may be a stupid question but where do you guys close your door from after you've washed it? I hate getting fingerprints on the car right after I've washed it but there doesn't seem to be anywhere good on the C5 to close the door from. Hate pushing on the side of the window and having a black car they show up everywhere on the paint. Just looking to see what some of you guys do aside from shutting the door with a towel wrapped around your hand.

Same here, as Electron Blue has proven to be a PITA too. Now, I just have to get my passengers on board with not smearing finger prints all over their door, lol.

Well that's an easy fix just don't let anyone ride in the car. Never thought about the keyhole. I'll give that a try.

I push on the door handle, or if that's not easy cause I have stuff in my hands, I close it with my elbow/shirt sleeve/knee, etc. I got my doors working like perfectly new, so it doesn't take any special effort.

yeah my z's doors open and close with little to no effort so I don't know why I didn't think of the key hole or my knee earlier. Thanks for the ideas!

I removed both of my doors just to avoid this problem.
The trunk, tonneau cover, hood and fuel door are next.

I use the weather seal just above the door. Black is even harder to keep clean.

Yeah if I had white or red I wouldn't worry about it so much. Almost every car I've had has been black but most of them have had a window frame. Last car I had was an STI and the window frame was a matte black so it didn't leave prints. I guess I could just make sure I always have one glove on like Michael. Ooooo hoooo Oowwww!
