Screw winter storage!
Sunny day here in Michigan with air temperature of 34 degrees and bone dry air = something that feels like 50 additional horsepower! Sorry, you guys in the south can't experience what this cold air can do for you and your car, I know all the arguments about living in the south vs. the colder climes, but this is truly amazing. Car feels like it is supercharged, even in D for drive....3rd gear on the Eway is simply fantastic. To my fellow northerners...get that beast out on the roads and try to keep the grin off your face.

I'm in Dallas, and I can remember many a morning in the 20's, 30's driving my Z06. I agree with you it sure makes for an interesting drive with cold tires, and cold concrete roads...
I agree about the cold air. I live in Florida and really enjoy my winter drives in the C5. Even if the temps only dip into the 40s at night, I can tell the difference vs. driving the car when it's 90 degrees and humid.

I had to take snow off the truck this morning. Roads are a mess. Saw a nice wreck this morning where a person decided to go straight when the road thought it was better to turn. Sorta challenged a power pole to a duel. Power pole won.

The Vette is sleeping...
If the normal weather pattern happens you should be getting tomorrow what we had today....get it ready!
It's been cold and dry around here too but my sports cars are put away for winter which includes taking the insurance off that is needed to drive the car on the road.
It sux though and I'm serious when I say I get depressed putting the last car into winter storage.

Yea, our forecast is for all clear tomorrow. I noticed on the way to to work this morning they'd stuck some salt on the roads. Seemed pretty well cleaned off here at 5pm. My car is already at work in the building, so I may take it for my errands tomorrow. But it won't be out first thing in the morning.
If the roads look white from the calcium chloride, it's staying asleep. That stuff is hell on O2's.

That's the worst part about winter here in central Ky. the first "snowfall" of the season will typically consist of one inch of snow and 2-4 inches of road salt. Usually enough to hang around all winter, unless we have a warm spell with lots of rain.
I'm in NJ and mine hasn't seen a day of hibernation in the 4 winters I've owned it...
I was born in NJ, but spent the major portion of my life in western NY....the snow belt. You guys don't know what winter is!! I called my aunt one day, just before I went to work (B shift), as I was looking for some family information.
My cousin, a school teacher, answers the phone. I ask what she's doing home, and not at school. She replies that school is closed due to a heavy snow storm. I asked how much snow fell...she replies "an inch". I break out into uproarious laughter, she asks what is so funny, and what do we do when we "get THAT much snow". I reply, "We slow down to 55"!!!!
(and store our prized Corvettes, so they don't have their metal parts destroyed by road salt....)

I love driving mine when it's cold. I don't drive it much when it's hot.

We see mid/upper 20's here in the Winter occasionally, very seldom in the teens, and yep, we drive year round, but when it does get to those temps, I love taking mine out for a good run....
