Selective ride control
I owned a 99 with this option (shown below), and now today with the later 2-setting version (shown farther below).
I could tell it was working when driving on a familiar road. Set it to Tour (for touring), and then to Perf (for performance driving), and back. You should notice the bumps in the road more on the Perf setting. That means the suspension is stiffer to handle performance driving better. For every day commuting, you'll appreciate the Tour setting for the softer more comfortable ride....and your Corvette will also appreciate the softer ride.....much less jarring of the vehicle. BTW: Obviously the setting in between is just that.
You are left to depend on the DIC (Driver Information Center) to tell you if there is a problem with any one particular shock.
