To each his own. Either way we are all driving one awesome car!

I started going black two years ago and haven't looked back. The wheels and the clear/black turn signals have been my two favorite appearance mods. IMO the stock turn signals (along with the stock headlight housing) really take away from our cars appearance.
I live near Lancaster Co Pa. The only real black wheeled cars around here belong to the mennonites ,they paint anything shiney on the cars black wheels ,bumpers etc

I'm just saying they seem to be humble people who wouldn't want to drive a loud, flashy car. So the chances of them driving a corvette are slim.

No offense I was just kidding you. The amish and mennonite kids come to car show and they check out my C5 and my 67 Chevelle when I have them on the road

You're lucky to have a Chevelle. I always loved that car.

I would love to remove the corvette lettering completely from the back. I'm talking about a completely smooth back with no indented lettering. But since I can't do that I like to at least have black to go with the whole black theme.
As for the front I agree with you. The front actually used to be black until I just had the whole thing reprinted. I'll probably get some more vinyl lettering to put there eventually.

I say leave the black lettering. My black lettering just came in the mail the other day. I'm putting it on front and back on my C5Z. However, instead of removing my emblems I'm going to put the Corvette C5 Emblem Black-Out Overlay Kit on.

Looks good but personally I like it better with it on the front but better without it on the back! Maybe I would like front better if the plate insert had letters filled n black? Either way car still looks awesome!

Front looks clean. I am not a fan of the chunky looking crossed flags on a smooth car, but it is your ride. Do what you wish.

What's up with the rear deck though? You going to clean that glue off or roll with it?

GOO-GONE works wonders. Then use CLAY and some good wax! Will look like it was never there.

The glue is all gone. If you look at the writing above you'll see I wrote "ghost of emblems past". Then in the two next pictures there isn't any glue.

Must be me brother, but the closeup pic shows plenty of glue.....If you are referring to the distant pics being GOO GONE, I couldn't tell from the photos. I take your word for it.
