Default Fond Memories

As you can see from this photo taken, mine wasn't on the front row. I must say, after just putting in a twelve hour day
at work, then making a six hour road trip to be where I was at that moment, my adrenaline was still kinda out of control
as I stood there gazing upon this '98 Corvette. The moment I had waited for had finally arrived. Yes, I remember it well.
After all, it's not 'every day' that dreams come true! On February, 24th, 2010, Dallas Tx, Mine did.

Although I will never see the money again that I have put into her to this date. It certainly has been money well spent. An if I were
to begin to describe the joy she brings me, even when she is just sitting around looking pretty. I would be just 'singing to the choir!' (smile)

Pics of mine when I picked it up from the dealer. I flew down to VA, and drove it home. Awesome.

Cool thread! I also bought my car sight unseen and the first time I saw it was when the car carrier pulled up. That was awesome when the truck pulled up. Reminds me of our forum member dudeurgettinavette

A few months later, my C5 was in the shop for some body repair, and I was given the chance to ride shotgun with him on a couple of mountain runs.

It was love at first sight, and at first ride. Then, summer of 2011 rolls around, and he's looking at picking up an AC Cobra replica. I had been pestering him ever since, telling him to put me in his will for that FRC, and he gave me first dibs, at a price I was somehow able to afford. I sold my C5 hatchback(6spd this time, as my dad had my old A4), and September of 2011, Ole' Grey had become mine. Although this time, she had a few more mods under the hood.

I will be buried in her, or we will burn into the side of a mountain when they try and take my car keys away.

The day I picked her up and the first time I'd ever sat in the driver's seat...
Awesome
