I do enjoy living by the water. However the entire country is pretty warm today. It was 80 degrees in Sarasota today, about 10 degrees above average. I wish it would cool down a little because I enjoy the cooler months of winter. 80s are great come March and April, not January.

I agree, since my C5 is a daily driver, I have often said how nice it is, if I have a bad day at work, to get in my C5 for the drive home !

Brian, is your engine work proceeding? If not, get that beast out! I see that Chicago set a record for consecutive days without snow.
Maybe Al Gore was right...

You're right. I just enjoy the cooler months. Last winter was more of a non-winter in terms of cooler temps, however three years ago we had a 20 day freeze cycle that killed a bunch of plants/trees.

Thanks. It is great therapy, however my Calloway Honker CAI sucks up a lot of sand off the beach side roads and I will be paying for it this weekend when I clean the engine.

Has to be nice to be able to drive the car year round. Sounds like you had a really good day.

I'll be passing through Longboat Key on the way to Key West in a couple of weeks for my "winter break" and I will wave.
When you are retired a 20 degree temperature drop is reason enough to head south.
