My EZ-Pass is registered for my 3 vehicles, so I have to switch it from vehicle to vehicle as needed. For a mounting system, I use a little suction-cup holder made specifically for EZ Passes that I bought at Pep Boys for around $5. It can be switched from vehicle to vehicle easily, and leaves no marks. Just like Onspeed, I mount it above and to the right of my rearview mirror, out of sight. Works for me.
In NY it's one device per license plate number. Not sure which way I'll go. I like the spray black idea but NYS is such a BIG PITA I'd probably get a ticket or warning or something. May try it anyhow.
We get a lot of friends and family who visit and go to Napa via the Golden Gate bridge which uses ezpass going southbound. We give them the unit for the day and we've never had a problem even though the unit's been used by dozens of different cars.

hmmm....
Not true. We've got all 3 of our vehicles registered to the same EZpass account.
So many good ideas. Don't really think I want it on my windshield. I may do the take it out an on the dash when I need it route and see if I get in trouble.
