that would the the crankshaft position sensor. It needs to be on the other side of the starter, upper side towards the flywheel. you cant realy see it too well with the starter on, but you can clip it in. I did the same thing on my LS2 install.
Can anyone tell me where this connector goes? it's right near the starter and low oil level sensor
Okay!
It looks like that is the Crank Position Sensor connector right "Behind" the starter!
Do you remember plugging that in, because if not the only thing it looks similar to is the front O2 sensor plug, but from the length it looks like the Crank position sensor!
Let us know what you find, might have to drop the starter!

Awesome!!! So that's where Casper harness plugs in at and then run it up to the front? Along with connecting the knock sensors

Hey Matt!!
No I haven't plugged that in, since the ls2's have the Crank position sensor is on the front for LS2's, I basically run my conversion harness to the front of the motor. Doing all these connections by memory is really testing it hahah but there's only a couple I don't know

Well thank you. I know what I'm doing is not the cleanest job like all these shop builds on here, but I'm trying to do my best

Ahh yes that is correct - I forgot LS2 has that bad boy up front and of course K/S on the sides!
I put the LS2 harness and Knock sensors on my LS1 on the side of the Block too - However the CPS stays behind the starter
Looking at the Casper harness (its the cps & knock in one)
The same connector for the cps is also located on the top of the motor near the map sensor. Is also right b the knock sensor connection?
It he one near the starter I wouldn't even now how the one knock sensor would reach around the other side of the block.

Thank you!! Ill be posting go pro video's for sure!
Tense were the other connectors that look the same for crank (one is obviously for the map sensor (idk which actually) and if I connected the harness here it will reach everything easier....if I do near the starter....I doubt it..
Btw, I wanted to make sure before I buttoned everything up that my starter and relocated battery would work, shot a small video:
As far as mine goes I "ONLY" used a LS2 Knock Sensor Relocation harness - so I could put the K/S's on the side of my LS1 (although I left the ones under the manifold as well, you never know, I can just unplug one set and plug in the other if need be)
LS1 Crank Position Sensor had to stay where it was!
Yea I finally saw a pic. There is 3 connectors that all are basically the same. Two up top (map & CPS) then there is the one near the starter....which I don't see anything nearby that it goes too.
