Default Baking Calipers?

Hey guys, I recently painted my calipers and brackets which turned out great. However, the instructions suggest to bake the caliper at 200* for 1 hour for the paint to cure. I was thinking "wouldnt this damage the rubber boots on the pistons?" What are your thoughts?

Go ahead and bake them. 200 degrees isn't very hot as far as brake parts are concerned.

I used the Duplicolor kit for the calipers and a VHT spray to turn the brackets a gloss black.

Looks like some high priced paint thinner in the background. All the way from Canada...

I painted mine with VHT out of a rattle can 5 years ago and they still look great. Point is, I didn't bake mine.

The paint job on the caliper looks great. Shouldn't hurt to bake it at that temp.
