The C5 paced Indy again in 2002 with the 2003 annivesary coupe and in 2004 with a red-white-blue convertible.

Ahh, but no CE for those 2 pace cars I guess. The '78 Indy is still a sentimental favorite of mine. Surprising how cheap you can buy a really nice one.

I've seen a few 2002 Anniversary editions on the forum with the pace car decal package, however I never saw a 2004.

But technically there was no pace car sold. Just decal packages. Correct?

The pic of the feature codes sticker lists "Z4Z" -- the code for the Indy Car Package, so it's the real thing. But those seat bolsters (especially the driver's) look awfully cherry for a color of that age and miles on the clock (new skins?). I'm also thinking the body and the wheels were repainted at some time. But just my 2 cents.

That's ironic I just looked at that last night also. Did notice that the center caps aren't original either.....they were yellow from the factory to match the yellow wheels.
