That's the very reason I carry, and watch my car. Not that I would shoot first then send condolences to the family, on the contrary, I would detain and prosecute them.
The reason why taking the 2003 1SC coupe on a long trip. Ya gotta sleep sooner or later. And I'm always afraid of losing some of the badges. People just are down to no ethics or morals anymore. If they don't own it, then the motto is wreak it ! I hate stories like this, Sorry about you damage.

You know, by now GoPro ought to be able to come up with a cheap, compact, 360 degree view camera with a rechargeable battery you could leave on the dash.
Your factory paint and clear are much tougher than that. It will wetsand and buff off. Be glad they did not key it. That, my friend, would have sucked.
Try GOOF OFF. It works on most paints, especially if you had a coat of wax. BUT be sure to rinse it off immediatley. It might cut into your clear coat, but you may be able to avoid a repaint or sand and polish.
Back in my bicycle flipping days, I used GOOF OFF to remove unwanted paint overspray. Only once did I run into a paint it would not remove. It never attacked the base paint on the bike, but I always rinsed it off.

I've used automotive paint reducer on several different vehicles to remove vandalism like this and paint transfer from "fixed objects" without ever damaging the clearcoat or paint. Takes this stuff off clean. Just wax after.

Yes, especially if you had wax or sealant on the paint. Start with a fresh clay bar and clay lube and see how well it comes off, then move up to a random orbital/dual action polisher. It is going to take some work, but it should come off.
If you use 3M rubbing compound it'll come right off. 3M compund then Meguiers Glaze and the Meguires wax and it'll be great. Rubbing alcohol also helps the process going by breaking down the bounding from the spray paint. I've accidentally painted my car with a can of paint that feel off a shelf. Took a little time and patients but it will come off.
At least yours comes off. The day I bought my car, it got egged, long story short 1500$ worth of damage done to the car, back bumper and passenger rear fender. Kid was a minor also. I got paid in return for not totally destroying this kids life.

I agree. As you state it happened at the school too, their admin must have their own open case with the law, which is probably on the middle burner. The school doesn't know about your particular car, so any results will not come back to you, so you have to approach them and ask for updates. I hope they catch the perps and get them some "guidance."
be careful with waxing after using any chemicals you don't want to trap them under a layer of wax and burn the original paint/clear coat
Good luck I think you'll get back to new
