I agree. As you state it happened at the school too, their admin must have their own open case with the law, which is probably on the middle burner. The school doesn't know about your particular car, so any results will not come back to you, so you have to approach them and ask for updates. I hope they catch the perps and get them some "guidance."
.
The police linked the reports so if they catch them for one incident they catch them for all.
Good news though... the car is back from the shop and 99.5% good as new. I'm probably the only one that would know by looking it, but then again I know every little mark on every inch of my car, but you all probably are the same way.

Jeremy, would you mind posting a before and after pic? Also, what did the shop do to remove the spray paint? Thanks pard...
I have removed dried on pavement yellow paint using a spray can of WD-40 and a old credit car cut in half. The WD-40 works at loosing the dried paint and the plastic credit card is great as a scraper and it doesn't hurt the paint. just my $0.02 ?
Whats funny , I wonder how many times the people that would rant on here about this happening to them are the same ones that did this to someone else when they were thirteen. If you are one of those people I'm sure you heard about Karma , what goes around comes around , and payback. Something to think about if you are guilty.
