I have a commemorative coupe and ordered a upper console, gm calls it a plate. Part # 10314269. When I got the part, it was a much lighter color than the original. The GM website I got if from and the local chevy dealer both came up with that part # after giving them my vin. The door panels, shift boot and console lid and dash are all a darker color. The dealer tells me that they only list that number as the other number is for black. The interior has not been modded so I dont' understand. Any other commemorative owners run into this problem? Thanks for any help on this, Jay

Is it still considered a neutral color?
My guess is that what is considered neutral now is not the same color as neutral in 2004 albeit close. I only ran into that situation with shale carpet. A vendor had shale carpet that matched the 2000 year yet the 2004 was slightly lighter.
