I can't believe Mattie Num Nums was bad mouthing the fuzzy dice of all things!
OK....now for my opinion and I've really only ran across one person here who cared at all about something I said, boy was he pissed!
Some how Rick pulls it off. Most cars I've seen that have been modded as heavily as Rick's wind up being a train wreck, IMHO. Rick's Vette is not something I would do, but I like it! He has managed to keep the "over all" appearance pleasing to the eye.
A week or 2 ago, when Blitz and James were having the whose car is the best thread, I showed both their cars to my wife. The first thing she said was I don't like those "tail thingys". I immediately thought if she doesn't like that I wonder what she would think about Rick's car. So I showed her a picture. Much to my surprise her reaction was "that's spiffy". I ask her why she thought it was spiffy.......she really couldn't answer, she just liked the looks of it. I think it all comes together nicely.

LOL, nothing like the woman test to keep us in check. Tail thingys and spiffy sound like the terms my wife uses.
I like the wraps. They look better than the plain black ones as they seem to flow better with the rest of the checkered flag mods. Your car looks good!
I have the Nassau Blue ones and they break up the black pretty well.
Your interpretation of rude seems to be... if you don't like it don't say it.
Well, I don't like. My opinion, public forum, when you do gaudy things like you have the be prepared for both positive and extremely negative comments. That's the just the way it is.

You have every right to your opinion, but you don't have to be rude about. This Forum is a family of Corvette owners and lovers, and we try to treat each other with courtesy and respect. Traits you obviously lack.
SRC's interior may not be to my taste either, but it's clear that he's spent a lot of time, money and TLC and for that, he should be complimented. BTW, I really do like the ground effects. Makes the car look like a C5R.

How many of you guys call Import cars rice? Ill be the first to say I don't like it. It takes away from the beauty of the car IMHO.
Thats all I said. As a former import owner and someone who lurked here for a long time before I signed up (mostly because people were slamming imports), I find it odd that once someone says they don't like it everyone starts whining. Its the internet. I posted my opinion, said I didn't like it, and then the defensiveness started in. You don't have to try and convince me to appreciate or like it because I won't and I don't.
Again you don't want opinions don't post it on a public forum.

I can't believe that there's an argument going on here. Someone gave an opinion, perhaps a bit harsh, but it was just his opinion. Rick-ignore it. Not everyone has your taste.
The next time both of you are on the road, ' Remember the Wave".
Sharp car, Rick. I happen to like it

Hey I admitted I liked the yellow one! Didn't mean to stir up the crowd.

You made your opinion obvious in your first post, Why keep going on about it? If you don't like it move on. Simple.
Mr.Bill

Geez, talk to the people that keep quoting me and bring me up. I find it pretty reasonable to defend myself if people keep getting sand in their panties.
A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it is not open.
So are you going to tell me what i can and can not like? Funny how there can be a huge thread about black wheels with all the old farts "hating" on guys who have them on their car because they are stuck in the chrome look of cars from the 40s-80s, yet someone says they are not a fan of something extremely over the top thats on their car and get a bunch of responses attacking them like they cant have a opinion.
Irony at its finest.
and yes, The ricer comment is spot on.
Look familiar?
