Hello all, Since I am only on my second Vette and there were several years in between them, I really want to learn once again about the history and heritage of these great cars (as well as some technical stuff). Other than the standard "shop type" manuals that are maitenance related, what books would you recommend to learn some of the other interesting stuff about our cars?
"All Corvettes are red" is a really fantastic read about how the C5 came into being. "Fifty years of Corvettes" is a thick book but it is filled what a lot of information you can get in a half a dozen small books but it is costly, but well worth in my opinion. And then there are a few books written by Hib Halverson, a very well know Automotive/Corvette journalist. Most everything else is either model specific or something that fills the 'Coffee table' interests.
Come to the get together this weekend at Aaron's place. You can find the info about it on the Northwest Regional Forum. I can bring some Corvette books for you to look at. KM
