And to be fair, it is complicated getting 2 golf bags back there, because there is a big sway bar that goes over the trunk almost splitting it in 2.

I was pleasantly surprised at the trunk space in a C5, even with the top down. I test drove a newer Camaro SS convertible, and you can barely fit a suitcase in that trunk with the top down!
Ah yes, a good friend of mine has a 350Z, and I figured someone else had put that sticker on there haha.

Wasn't my idea. We were heading to Lincoln when my son said he had a gig and needed a rig out of the studio/basement. Nothing like planning ahead.
My instrument wont fit in the back of any Vette I don't care how well you pack it

You can also fit $250 worth beer and pretzels from Bevmo and a 50 foot garden hose.

Would an adult sized body fit in the trunk? Just wondering. Forget I asked.

I'm not sure what was up on my first attempt, but I could not for the life of me get them in the trunk of the car without creating major body damage. It was one of those days.

After reading the post where a gentleman got two sets with the top down, I was skeptic and couldn't wait to get home and try again, They just fell in.

I apologize for posting something on the internet that wasn't true.

I've also found the trunk will hold among other things;
A 56 bottle wine cabinet and 2 computer kiosks (assembly required)
$256 worth of groceries.
Fender Twin amplifier & guitar
My elderly father's Cadillac fold up walker w/deluxe beverage holder.

Don
you can carry $256 in groceries on a bicycle
It is amazing how spacious the trunks are on C5s

Yep every car I ever bought had to have the capacity to hold two sets of golf clubs or I didn't buy it.

Not really. But it does have to hold a twelve pack.
