The Ball from eBay and the adaptor from Ecklers.

I was thinking about changing the shift **** on the A4 myself. I found these on eBay:

Satin:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-CORVET...-/300488523074

Wood grain:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-CORVET...-/110607911304

I'm figuring they just have a set screw/allen screw that holds in the shift **** and you swap it out, but that might be too easy.

Anyone have a link to directions on how to remove the stock leather A4 shift **** for an aftermarket ****? Any help would be great, thanks!

I have the satin one and really like it. You just remove the staple with a small screwdriver and the new one just remounts using the staple. I had to bend it slightly to add some tension but works flawlessly a year and a half later.

I had the satin one on my car for maybe 2 days and I took it off and sold it because in the summer it gets so hot you can't touch it. True...
