Yea for sure ! Love the Silver ! Big Silver fan here.
Love the Red interior with Silver too !
Loose the black wheels though and put on a nice set of brushed, or polished wheels.

I like the rear window better on the C7 coupe, then again, I prefer verts and FRC's due to not having the large bubbleglass fastback look, although it is better for aero. I like the hood, rear 1/4 and rear end better on the C5.

I was never a fan of the black wheels or the blacked out look either. It reminds me of when I was a kid and all I could afford was to spray everything with primer.

One thing for certain, No matter what any of us has to say about it, the C7 is going to hit the market and it will probably sell very well.

I still like my C5 - for some reason the 6's and 7's look bigger to me.

C7 looks way too European for me .. plus hate the Camaro tail lights on it ! Doesn't really stand out as an American icon Corvette to me ...

Seeing this really makes me appreciate the lines of the C5 even more. It looks far more sleek and refined than the C7. The C7 just looks like it's trying to hard to fit in.

Although I will say, the interior of the C7 is a beautiful thing.

This sort of reminds me of when Ferrari introduced the 348 to replace the well-loved and beautiful 328. The 348's styling was a complete departure from the classic and flowing lines of the 328. They replaced the 4 round (classic) Ferrari tail lights with square lights covered in black slats. They replaced the classic flowing side engine intake openings with what most consider large ugly slats (similar to the Testarossa). They basically made the whole exterior more angular, more busy and less curvy or flowing. The only area that everyone seemed to agree was an improvement was the interior. History later proved that all of the 328 owners who hated the new styling and predicted that it would fail, were right.

Today, the 348 is considered by the Ferraristas as the least desirable of the series. The most desirable is still the 308 and 328. Even Ferrari's current CEO stated recently in an interview that the 348 was a "mistake".

I'm not saying that this will be the case with the new C7 because these are different times as far as styling trends are concerned. But it's still an interesting piece of Ferrari history.

I'll bet that if there was an internet forum in the 80's, the exact comments we are seeing in this thread would be coming from current 328 owners.
