Managed my drone problem!!
If you want the sound of the Bullet exhaust - but not all the time - then we have our Fusion system. The Fusion is a bi-modal exhaust system, like the NPP option on the C6. There are two passages within the muffler that the exhaust can travel through. One passage is "loud", and the other is "quiet". The driver can control which passage is used via butterfly valves that are actuated by an interior mounted switch. The loud side gives you the classic "Bullet" sound in the open position. The quiet side has a fantastic smooth tone and deep rumble. On the highway there is nearly no noticeable drone in the cabin. We have a retrofit kit for the C5. We have other exhaust systems that aren't as aggressive as the Bullet, but still give a mean exhaust sound and power gains. One example is our PRT (stands for Purge Resonance Technology). This is a drone free system. More info at http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/corvette/c5/
Probably not far from the truth. I would love to have a corsa system, but I got the bullets for less than half the price. Plus, the bullets are the best for scaring mother-in-laws, girlfriends, and children. Its my DD and highway gets irritating, so something needed to change. Fatmat-quick and easy.
