If you want to be certain of the build date, just get your dealer to run a vehicle history for you. It will show the build date on there. But if what you found is accurate, that is pretty

The dates reflect what I was told about my C5 - I was told my "born" date was 8/3/00 by a Forum member who worked at the factory. The commission/completion date (the date that was written on my hood) was 15 days later.

May 29, 2001 for me. The day after Memorial Day so that will be an easy way to remember. I guess that means it completed in June '01, almost the end of the 2001 cycle.
Edit: Duh, Memorial Day is moves around so it could be almost a week earlier in some years. Oh well, LOL
