Default Installed clear corners and switchbacks

Hello all. Installed the clear corners, switchbacks and signal LEDs this morning (along with hyperflash harness under knee bolster). The old lenses were cloudy and had small cracks around the edges. Really like the look and the install was not bad at all. I went in from the bottom and the only semi "fun" part was wrestling with the brake vent duct. All-in-all very happy with the look. I was amazed at the damage the heat had caused inside the old lenses once I got them out. Let me know if you have any questions.

Isn't it amazing the amount of heat and damage once you get in there...

Very nice sharp new look you have

looks great, I did the same mod. The only thing I don't like about mine is that I did the LED with the 30 white and 30 amber LED's so it is yellow with lights off and white with parking or headlights on. The yellow is barely visible during the day so the oncoming traffic does not see your turn signal very well. How did you handle this?

Those look nice, super bright. I used radioflyer's LED strips on mine.

Looks very good. I replaced my stock lenses about a month ago - not too difficult - just time consuming.

You should start a thread and post a picture so we can see.... I have switchbacks and there isn't a visibility problem... Did you change out the housing for clear depot housing too? I don't want to hi-jack the OP's thread but if you do start another thread I am sure you'll get sorted out

Actually got the lenses off of the "Big E" website (others had recommended them) and when they arrived they were indeed good quality. The LEDs, switchbacks and harness came from our friend at JW Motoring. They are also great quality. As far as getting the car up, I just used my pucks and jacked up one side at a time with my low profile floor jack. I put jack stands under it while I was working. I never trust just a jack when I am under a car. I don't lower it all the way down to the jack stands, but I put a little pressure on the stand and a little on the jack while I am under there. That way if one fails I should be able to count on the other one.

My switchbacks are amber (yellow) as DRLs while the lights are off and are nice and bright. When you turn on the parking lights they shift to a nice bright white. The turn signals are also nice and bright. Everything seems much brighter and easier to see that the stock system was.
